Brief on Machine Condition

Electrics

All electrical components as detailed have been overhauled at Flanders Electric workshop in Lakeland Florida

  • MG sets
  • Exciter
  • Drag, hoist, propel and swing motors
  • Drag, hoist, & swing controllers overhauled and upgraded

All cabling replaced. Armature cabling upgraded to 500MCM cable.
Control cabling replaced with upgraded armoured cable.
PCR cabinets overhauled and a new GE control cabinet installed
New insulators and trail cable terminals installed in tub.
On-board transformers overhauled and tested.

 

 Mechanical

New lower swing bearings installed on each of the four shafts

Swing shafts ultra-sonic tested for cracks and found to be in good condition

Bulk lubrication tanks installed with external recharge facility.

All upper, lower and intermediate suspension ropes in good condition with no evidence of broken wires or deformation in the ropes

Boom and mast structure in good condition with no damaged or cracked lacings

Mast boom and A-frame blasted and recoated

Revolving frame blasted, tested for cracking, and recoated

New bolts installed front and back machinery frames

Operator’s cabin clean & tidy, with new floor and floor covering installed
